The production of fine wine and related products requires careful control of temperature throughout the production process. Industrial chillers are employed to control temperature at the fermentation stage, as heat is naturally produced by exothermic reaction. These temperatures can be closely monitored either at site or remotely. Temperature plays a part in virtually every step of the winemaking process, from ‘must cooling’ and fermentation to cold stabilisation, clarification and storage.
